Предмет. Роль промышленности в современном мире, индустриальная революция, формирование конкурирующих политических блоков. Цели. Количественный анализ детерминантов индустриального роста для стран дух крупнейших блоков (BRICS, G7). Определение приоритетных детерминантов индустриального роста для России. Методология. Применены инструменты математического анализа. Результаты. В целом стабильное положительное влияние на рост индустриального производства оказывала широкая денежная масса. Расходы на научные разработки выступали наиболее значимым положительным детерминантом в Китае и США и положительно значимым – в странах G7. По странам BRICS выявлена положительная и статистически значимая связь индустриального выпуска с государственными расходами на образование. Выводы. Опираясь на результаты выполненного анализа, сделан вывод о целесообразности использования двойного ориентира В России в рамках промышленной политики следует учитывать специфику детерминантов, характерных для стран BRICS, где важное значение имеет стимулирующая монетарная политика, и ориентироваться на модель развития Китая и США, где ведущую роль играет научно-технологический фактор.
